The inaugural International Healthy Parks Healthy People Congress has attracted media attention Australia-wide, with many Congress keynotes being interviewed.
The messages that keynotes have been sharing that have resonated include; the interdependence of nature and human health, the danger of children's disconnectedness from the environment, the role for community gardens, climate change, "nature deficit disorder", the need for healthy oceans and the importance of maintaining biodiversity as it relates to keeping people - and the planet - healthy.
